Anne Spencer became interested in bonsai in 1969 and, since 1975, has been an active member of the Bonsai Society of Portland, OR. She is a founding member of Oregon Shohin Kai, started in 2004 as an offshoot of BSOP. Anne is a frequent speaker for bonsai clubs and other organizations in Oregon and Washington, using her background in education, along with her extensive collection of bonsai, photos, charts, and handouts, to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
