Sunday December 4th, 6 - 8PM, Special Meeting with Guest Artist, Mauro Stemberger

Mauro Stemberger was born 1978 in Feltre, Italy, and works as Architect and Bonsai artist. At the age of 14 he was fascinated about Bonsai Art and started his passion with the local Bonsai club Feltre. During the period from 1994-2001 he had the chance to join workshops with important European bonsai masters like Hotsumi Terakawa, Marc Noelander, Horst Crekler, Edoardo Rossi and many more. In 2002 during a meeting in Arco he had the chance to meet Alfiero Suardi and Enrico Savini thanks to them he could improve his technique and in the meantime studied architecture at IUAV University in Venice. In 2005 he founded the Italian Bonsai Dream workshop place with a group of enthusiasts to work and enjoy bonsai art 360°.

In 2006 Mauro graduated as Architect and started working in his own town. In 2007 he began writing articles for the most important bonsai magazines like Bonsai Focus, UBI bonsai and BCI bonsai & stone appreciation magazine.

Mauro served as President of UBI from 2008 to 2010 (Italian Bonsai association) and director of UBI bonsai magazine. From 2011 founded with a group of students (Italian Bonsai Dream School) at Garden Verde – Marostica Currently and for the last seven years he’s doing demonstrations and workshops for bonsai clubs and Associations all over the World (Mexico-USA-Belgium-Germany-Holland-Italy-Croatia-England-Austria-France-Portugal-Czek Republic-Lithuania-Poland-Spain-Venezuela-Argentina-Brazil).

The coordinator will send you a link to our secure online payment system. Confirmation that space is available from the coordinator is required before making payment.
 

Fee: $85.00 for workshop Participant, $10.00 for Silent observer.

Time: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Participants are expected to bring a medium to high quality tree, tools and wire (bring more trees in case there is only minimal work to be done on one of the trees).
